Kasra 
The Kasra sign is a small line placed below a letter. If the letter is a light letters (blue boxes), the Kasra ( ﹺ ) gives a short /ee/ sound to the letter as in “Thin” to the letter. if it is a heavy letter (green boxes) then it gives a heavier /e/ sound as in “Soccer”.
