Tanween

Tanween gives an “-an, -in, -un” sound to the last letter of the word, when added to it.
There are three types of Tanween and they always come at the end of the word.
– When Tanween comes in double Fatha it gives the “-an” sound as in “Human” or “Sun”.
– When it comes in the shape of double Kasra it gives the “-in” sound as in “Cabin” or “Begin”.
– When it comes in the shape of double Dhamma it gives the “-un” sound just like the pronunciation of “Uno”.
Now let’s read our joined words.
